Philadelphia's self-pitying sports fans

Check out this article, which a friend e-mailed to me: http://community.comcast.net/comcastportal/board/message?board.id=TheRussakoffRules&message.id=161. I know about the never-ending debate by sports of various teams and in different cities about who is the most "cursed". Philadelphia's fans feel as though it is them. All I can say to them is that at least they never had a team carpetbagged from under the feet, like when the Colts abandoned Baltimore for Indianapolis. At least they never lost a team for no reason whatsoever, as was the case when Winnipeg lost the Jets, Minneapolis/St. Paul lost the North Stars and Quebec City lost the Nordiques (who added insult to injury by moving to Denver and promptly winning the Stanley Cup in their first season in their new city). At least they were never sabotaged by their sport, like the Expos were in Montreal.

Sorry, Philadelphia, the self-pitying thing doesn't go that far with me............
