Apparently, after the latest of President Peanut Farmer's rantings against it, the White House has finally decided that enough is enough, and it has responded his diatribe: http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/idUSN2020522120070520?feedType=RSS&rpc=22. Thanks to George Roper (on my blogroll) for pointing this one out.
All I can say is, it's about time. President Peanut Farmer has violated every unwritten rule and canon which hold that ex-Presidents are not supposed to comment on the actions of sitting Presidents. Similarly, sitting Presidents, once they take office, are not supposed to discuss the actions of former Presidents, once they leave office. President Bush has adhered to those rules, but I am glad that the gloves may finally be coming off.
As well, if you read the article, you can see that President Peanut Farmer also trashed Prime Minister Tony Blair of Great Britain. As I have already posted on this, I will refrain from pointing out further the irony of this failure commenting on anyone else's foreign policy.
