Hamas sends Qassams into Israel, U.S. State Department berates Israel for its response

Gotta love this. Hamas has been raining Qassams on Sderot and surrounding areas of Israel for months now, and in a rare show of political backbone, the Olmert government has finally decided that enough is enough and IDF troops arrested 33 Hamas "legislators" (translation: TERRORISTS). What does the U.S. State Department do? Why, criticize Israel, of coure: http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3404204,00.html. As Dave from Israellycool dryly notes, terrorists are apparently immune from arrest once they are elected to office.

Of course, we can always count on the International Solidarity Movement for a clear, rational analysis of the situation: http://www.palsolidarity.org/main/.
