Ranking the Presidents

More on President Peanut Farmer. The Wall Street Journal ranked all but two of the men who have served as President of the United States. Surprise, surprise, President Peanut Farmer finished BELOW President George W. Bush (though President Peanut Farmer was still ranked too high, I think). Granted, these rankings were done about 18 months ago, but I'd be willing to bet that President Bush would still finish ahead, even if the survey were done today.

Here are the rankings: http://www.opinionjournal.com/extra/?id=110007243

They still put Carter really low on the list, ranked 34th out of 40. They put the current President at 19th. I think it is interesting that Nixon is above Carter given his clarifying statement saying that Nixon's foreign policy was better than the current one. It's nice to see both Bush's above Clinton, although it surprises me that the experts would do that.

Well, supposedly this was a bipartisan panel, and let's keep im mind that the survey was conducted a while ago. That said, I think that President Peanut Farmer's ranking will continue to drop as history evaluates just how awful his administration was.
