Go to another blog!
Go the Breath of the Beast (on my blogroll), and to the following link, specifically: http://breathofthebeast.blogspot.com/2008/03/think-happy-thoughts-about-people-who.html. It is one of the best outlines and discussions of "Muslim Rage" that you can ever hope to read.

Addition to my blogroll
I've made the first addition to my blogroll in quite some time. The new addition is Ezra Levant, the former publisher of the Western Standard. You may have heard his name previously. Mr. Levant, you see, has committed the unforgivable sin (in Alberta, anyway) of publishing the "infamous" Mohammed cartoons. Needless to say, this raised the hackles of a Muslim or two, and a complaint was filed with the Alberta Human Rights Commission because Muslims' feelings were hurt by the publication of the cartoons.
All of this falls on the heels of the prosecution (or should I say, PERSECUTION) of Mark Steyn, again because he ostensibly offended Islamic sensibilities. What is going on in Canada?
In any event, Mr. Levant's blog is a fine one, and I urge everyone to stop by and pay it a visit, if for no other reason than to get updated on his battles with the government-sponsored Political Correctness Police.
UPDATE (8:02 p.m.): At the request of a reader, Ezra Levant's blog address is http://www.ezralevant.com/. And, let me be the first to thank a courageous Muslim blogger, www.muslimsagainstsharia.blogspot.com. Thank you for stopping by, as well as for your courage. It is people such as yourself who give me hope.

An open message to one of my blog readers
I don't have many "regular" readers, but am appreciative of the ones I do have. One of the people who hasn't been shy about posting to my blog has been a British reader who has posted under the byline "Najistani". No blog links were provided by Najistani, so I never knew exactly who he/she was, whether they were a blogger, etc.
Well, today Najistani linked to a blog called "supportthreresistance.blogspot.com". The site claims to support the British National Party, which as I understand it, is racist and anti-Semitic. The caption of the blog read as follows: "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for White children". That is a verbatim quote.
So, Najistani, I ask you the following: Are you a supporter of this party? What is your understanding of the party's positions? Do you share their anti-Semitic beliefs? We may have positions in common with respect to Islamofascism, but I want nothing to do with the BNP or the positions it espouses.
For my readers, here is an outline of the BNP's policies, which is taken from the British National Party's own website: http://www.bnp.org.uk/sms-news-texts/. For a detailed examination of the party (and the anti-Semitic roots it has), check out this article in the London Times: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/politics/article1672185.ece, or this analysis: http://www.wellingboroughrec.org.uk/news/BNP.pdf. If you want more, just type in the words "British National Party" and do a web search. There will be no shortage of articles on it.
UPDATE (9:45 p.m.): Turns out that my "Payback's a bitch" series ties in here as well. British blogger Lionheart, who I've defended, is a supporter of the BNP as well: http://djkonservo.wordpress.com/2008/01/06/wtf-britain/.
Sigh...............
UPDATE (7:11 a.m., 1/13/08): A commenter to the blog asked about free speech (regarding Lionheart. I believe in Lionheart's right to say what he wants, when he wants. Just don't expect me to support his other views, given his views on the BNP.

Payback's a Bitch, Part Two
This is a followup to my post on January 5, where I discussed the predicament of British blogger "Lionheart", who is facing charges in his home country for daring to be critical of Islam. Blooger and journalist Phyllis Chesler has tracked Lionheart down and conducted an interview with him, which can be found here: http://pajamasmedia.com/xpress/phyllischesler/2008/01/09/a_profile_in_courage_an_interv.php.
It's both a fascinating and a sobering read. This is the world in which organizations like CAIR want us to all live, one where non-Muslims fear to say anything which could even remotely be construed as being "anti-Muslim". We're heading down the same path here.................

Payback's a bitch
Sorry for the nasty language in this caption. One of my blog readers (I have readers! YEAH!) has suggested that one of the reasons that English blogger Lionheart may have been targeted by the Luton police for prosecution under the UK's hate crimes laws was that he hasn't exactly been shy about pointing out the failings of the local police department in dealing with Islamic criminals: http://lionheartuk.blogspot.com/2007/03/i-live-in-and-around-luton-and-have.html.
One would like to think that the police would not be so petty, but the facts might suggest otherwise.

More on the Annapolis farce
Pamela Geller Oshry, former Associate Editor of the New York Observer and founder of the "Atlas Shrugs" blog (on my blogroll), is never one to pull her punches. We agree on many things, disagree on others. On the subject of Israel, and the seeming abandonment of Israel by the Bush 41--I'm sorry, the Bush 43 White House--we march to the beat of the exact same drum: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/7603.
Her assessment of the disgraceful treatment of Israel at the conference, as true an example of apartheid as has occurred since the end of the minority white regime, is spot on. That the dhimmi Israeli leadership seemingly accepted it is immaterial. It was appalling, and this administration should be ashamed of itself for condoning (if not encouraging) it.

Giving the European media a dose of its own medicine
There is a wonderful new blog out there which focusses exclusively on bad news from The Netherlands: http://badnewsfromthenetherlands.blogspot.com/.
The irony is probably lost on the borderline anti-Semitic European press, but it's still a wonderful idea. I have added this blog to my blogroll.

ANOTHER great new blog!
I found this one through LGF: http://monkeytenniscentre.blogspot.com/. Of course, he is now on my blogroll.
Be sure to check out his post on how the nutty lefties are celebrating the death of a Sunni tribal chief in Iraq who was allied to the United States (because, after all, these whack jobs are of the view that if it's bad for President Bush, it's good for them, even if it's bad for the country).

Five Blogs which make me THINK
I was "tagged" by George Roper on his blog (a fine one at that, and I commend it to you), as being one of the blogs which makes him think (a definite compliment). Here are five which, in addition to George's, make ME think (as much as I can, anyway!). All are on my blogroll:
1) Solomonia: Consistently among the best at coverage the Middle East and any issues involving the Religion of Peace emanating out of the Boston area.
2) Woman Honor Thyself: Well-thought out, reasoned commentary from a female perspective.
3) Oleh Michael: An American/Israeli perspective on all that is going on in the world. It is fascinating to read.
4) The American Israel Patriot: Another American/Israeli blog. If you want a sense of what is going on in Israel, check it out.
5) Big Pharaoh/The Sandmonkey: Sorry, I'm copping out here and rating this one as a tie. I've blogged about them previously, but they are Egyptian bloggers who are proof that there is at least SOME reason for hope about the Arab world.

Two great Egyptian Bloggers are BACK!
The Sandmonkey and Big Pharaoh, both of whom are on my blogroll, are back to work, blogging away. I highly commend them to you, and urge you to check out what they have to say. Whenever I am completely ready to give up hope on the Arab world, I read what they have to say and realize that there are at least a few voices of reason in it.

Durban Revisited
Rather than write my own post, I am going to link to two other fabulous blogs, www.solomonia.com and www.tundratabloids.blogspot.com, both of which have excellent recaps of the recently concluded European Parliament conference on the "Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People". As both of those blogs point out, the atmosphere was so biased and toxic that even the rabidly pro-Palestinian Scandinavians were somewhat put off.
Go and read what they have to write. It's eye-opening.................

New Blog and New Blog Feature
I found an absolutely hysterical new blog, written by a stay-at-home mother of six. She is witty, insightful and clearly on the way to losing her sanity! ;-) Her blog can be found here: http://mom2my6pack.blogspot.com/, and I have linked to her on my blogroll.
As well, on the right hand side of my blog, I have inserted a world map. For those readers who are so inclined, you can post your location. I am curious about where all of you are located! :-D

Egyptian Bloggers
I previously posted on the decision by Egypt's most prominent blogger, the Sandmonkey, to stop blogging. A like-minded blogger, The Big Pharaoh, stopped posting around the same time. Here's why: http://www.meforum.org/article/1692.

Farewell to a GREAT Blogger
One of the best bloggers out there, Egypt's "Sandmonkey", has closed down his blog. Hs final posting can be found here: http://www.sandmonkey.org/2007/04/28/done/. The entire blogosphere will be worse off for his departure, and I for one will genuinely miss what he has to say. As well, another brave Egyptian blogger, The Big Pharaoh, has also (temporarily, he says) stopped blogging: http://www.bigpharaoh.com/. Both are on my blogroll................
