Sorry for the nasty language in this caption. One of my blog readers (I have readers! YEAH!) has suggested that one of the reasons that English blogger Lionheart may have been targeted by the Luton police for prosecution under the UK's hate crimes laws was that he hasn't exactly been shy about pointing out the failings of the local police department in dealing with Islamic criminals: http://lionheartuk.blogspot.com/2007/03/i-live-in-and-around-luton-and-have.html.
One would like to think that the police would not be so petty, but the facts might suggest otherwise.
