Needless to say, it's the New York Times which is perpetuating this latest fantasy, one which has American veterans of Afghanistan and Iraq committing crimes on a "disproportionate" basis: http://ocregister.com/opinion/war-times-iraq-1962198-one-home. And the thing is, as Steyn notes, the NYT is RIGHT. American veterans are committing crimes at a disproportionate rate relative to others who are their age...................DISPROPORTIONATELY LOWER.
The left-wing (I won't dignify it by calling it "liberal") bias of the New York Times is well known, but at some point, doesn't that bias become so absurd that even the most devoted reader has to ask "Are you for real?"
