Thankfully, there are some who see through Michael Moore's latest, shameless effort to decry the United States: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2007/05/michael_moores_sickness.html. In this latest "documentary", Moore attempts to paint the Cuban health care system as a model for the entire world (and especially the United States) to follow.
I have three questions for Mr. Moore: When was the last time that Cuban medicine discovered a cure for ANYTHING? When was the last time that a doctor from that country came up with anything that advanced medical science? On the other hand, does a day go by without a doctor or pharmaceutical company in this contry announcing that they have made a medical breakthrough on some healthcare issue?
