Martin Peretz of the New Republic has an excellent blog entry about the not-so-stunning hypocrisy of the New York Times, and its decision to run an which solicited funding for the Iranian nuclear program, and its subsequent decision to refuse to run an ad which is being run by advocates of a boycott of Sudanese goods as well as the companies which invest in that country: http://www.tnr.com/blog/spine?pid=106984.
I guess that after reading this, all I could think is that the Times is not even pretending to be objective anymore.
