Here is the transcription of an interview Osama Bin Laden did in October of 2001, deriding Americans' ability to stick things out: http://archives.cnn.com/2002/WORLD/asiapcf/south/02/05/binladen.transcript/. Bin Laden was referring to Somalia, of course, but the comments are just as true insofar as Iraq is concerned. The Islamofascists bank on our lack of ability to see things through, and given the comments of the Democrats in Congress as well as the MSM, their confidence in our lack of fortitude is well-deserved.
