Which road? The road to the West's eventual complete capitulation to (radical) Islam, to the mindset of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, which has pointedly referred to so-called "Islamophobia" as "the greatest form of terrorism on the planet".
It's almost become a Pavlovian parody: Islamofascist radicals (a redundant term, I know) hit us with terrorist attacks, or have their plots broken up, and the West immediately reacts with mea culpas and evermore restrictive guidelines on how we can refer to the aspiring terrorists..........I'm sorry, "Disaffected/Alienated/Underprivileged Youths", or whatever the latest P.C. term is for them: http://www.townhall.com/columnists/DianaWest/2007/07/07/making_jihad_go_away.
Look at the way the world has changed since 9/11............for the worse. Hollywood makes movies about terrorists, and who are those terrorists? Inevitably, they are Caucasian males. President Bush goes into mosques and bleats about how Islam is a "Religion of Peace". Nancy Pelosi goes to Syria and puts on a Hijab. Everytime there is yet another terrorist attack perpetrated by (hate to be un-P.C., but I have to point this out) Muslims, or such an attack is thwarted, there is someone from CAIR berating us--without any argument from the host interviewing them, of course--for our so-called Islamophobia, and disingenuously implying that it's our own fault, anyway.
I would describe the whole situation as Orwellian, but I don't even think that George Orwell's incredibly fertile imagination could have imagined a situation like this one.

Why add "radical" Islam? Osama is practicing Islam in its most pure form- straight out of the 7th century.
Which is why I put the word radical in brackets.
Still, religions evolve. Judaism has. So has Christianity. SOME Muslims have, but the problem is that so many more have not.
