Apparently, the prime newspaper in Southern California felt slighted that Hamas Op-Eds were only published on the East Coast, and that the millions of people living in the Los Angeles Basin should also get to read Hamas' "viewpoint": http://ws.collactive.com/points/point?id=aCXIB0DqpWUo.
You have to wonder if the amoral (and arguably immoral) individuals obviously inhabiting the editorial boards of these newspapers would have given space during World War II to Adolph Hitler or Benito Mussolini for Op-Eds. Too extreme? How about Vidkun Quisling? The head of Vichy France?
Truly, these peope are without shame.
