Rachel Corrie

Dead for four years, she is still haunting Israel, this time as her parents pursue a Quixotic lawsuit against Caterpillar, claiming that the tractor and industrial machinery giant "knew" that its equipment was being used to commit human rights violations: http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2007/07/10/america/NA-GEN-US-Israel-Corrie-Caterpillar.php.

Really? I wasn't aware that destroying the homes of terrorists constituted a human rights violation. While I can't help but sympathize somewhat for the Corrie's loss of their child, it is clear from a reading of their comments that the apple did not fall far at all from the tree in this case. The left wing lunacy of their daughter, which led to her hating her own country and attempting to protect terrorists, was either genetic or learned, but either way, it came from them.
