Every time that I think that we have hit a new low (or high, depending on your perspective) in terms of our societal political correctness, we bring it to another level. The latest comes out of the Chicago area, where one school board is banning Halloween (because it offends adherents of the Religion of Peace, of course). That same board has already banned jello and all pork products from its menu: http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/578734,CST-NWS-oaklawn28.article.
I do find it interesting that we go out of our way to be accomodating and "tolerant" for a faith whose most outspoken advocates stress that they will never accomodate or tolerae us in any way, shape or form.

If you don't want pork and jello, then don't eat it! No need to force the rest of us not to have it.
