How else can one explain the willful, ongoing refusal of the MSM (and more pointedly, the far left elements in the MSM) to report on the rabid, homicidal homophobia in Iran? There has been an ongoing war against homosexuals in the Islamic Republic since 1979, and yet it receives almost no attention at all: http://www.opinionjournal.com/columnists/bstephens/?id=110010679.
Perhaps gay rights groups are too busy protesting about whether they should be allowed to get married. Whatever the reason, you would think that the active repression (to put it mildly) of fellow gays in Iran would merit more attention, but I guess not.
