Something for nothing

That's what the Arab League wants (and given the current leadership in both Israel and the United States, probably will get). Merely for showing up at a "Peace Conference", which will be nothing more than an exercise in futility, the Arab League is demanding that Israel provide numerous gurarantees, including a moratorium on settlement building, releases of prisoners, yadda, yadda, yadda: http://news.monstersandcritics.com/middleeast/news/article_1364337.php/Arab_League_sets_terms_for_attending_peace_conference_with_Israel. Yet, what is the Arab League offering in return? Nothing. Nada. Bupkus. Niente. Rien. Zilch. Zero. Zippo. Just a half-hearted promise that it will send someone to this conference, someone who undoubtedly will make even more demands of Israel.

This whole situation is a joke. And, who is largely to blame for this fiasco? Current U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, who sounds an awful lot like she is now channeling James "F-- the Jews" Baker: http://www.nysun.com/article/64310. This woman is a disaster as a Secretary of State.
