Slowly but surely, details are emerging about the 9/6/07 IDF raid into Syria, if not on the actual raid than on the leadup to it. A very large tip of the hat to the inimitable Pam at Atlas Shrugs, who dug up an article showing that our illustrious Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice, wanted the raid put off altogether, and was successful in getting it put off for a couple of months: http://abcnews.go.com/WN/story?id=3695754&page=1.
I have long thought that the Secretary of State was no great friend of Israel, and it looks like the proof on that is gradually coming out.
