The end of the so-called "Peace Process"

Even committed peaceniks are starting to realize that the mythical peace process is a doomed, waste of time: http://www.arabnews.com/?page=7&section=0&article=102733&d=23&m=10&y=2007. I grew up reading Gwnne Dyer in the Montreal Gazette. He is what can be most fairly characterized as a socialist, and no one loves a "peace process" more than a socialist. As his column demonstrates, however, even Dyer has given up hope here, and in a shocker, he has actually not blamed it all on Israel. This is as close to a "victory" as Israel is ever going to come.
