A bipartisan piece of good advice

Two former Attorney Generals, one under the Peanut Farmer Administration and the other under the Bush 41 Administration, have penned an Op-Ed calling for immunity for companies who assiest the government in fighting terrorism: http://www.opinionjournal.com/extra/?id=110010805. Ever since word came out that several of the nation's telephone companies had provided information to the government, lawsuits against the companies which provided the information have flooded the courts.

These companies are trying to protect us all. It would seem only fair if they didn't have to worry about being sued everytime they provided the government with a name, or call log, etc.
