It has come to the point where every time U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice opens her mouth, it makes me ill. Her latest is to state that a Palestinian state should be created immediately: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071015/ap_on_re_mi_ea/mideast_rice.
I would have said that this was merely a product of the Arabist U.S. State Department, but the stunning thing is that even the State Department wasn't clamoring for the creation of a Palestinian State NOW.
I wonder, what in the world can she be thinking? It's not like the Palestinians have even made pretext of following the so-called "Roadmap". Rather, they've elected a terrorist government, launch rockets constantly at Israel from the Gaza Strip, continue to hold an Israeli soldier hostage, and continue to teach their children that A) Israel doesn't exist, and B) Even if it does, that just means that all Jews inside it must be killed.
Has Ms. Rice completely lost her mind? Does none of this matter to her?
