Good news out of France (!!), where Nicolas Sarkozy was elected as the French President: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070506/ap_on_re_eu/france_us_analysis. Sarkozy's election augurs well (I hope) for Franco-American relations, and has the definite potential to do likewise for Israeli-Franco interaction, which can be described as being frosty at best. Actions will speak louder than words, of course, but at least there is a slim reason to be optimistic on these matters for the first time in a long, long while...........
