No surprise

Venezuela's small Jewish community (numbering less than 300,000 in a country of more than 26,000,000 people) is under siege, which really shouldn't shock anyone, given the rabidly anti-Israeli positions of its President, Hugo Chavez: http://www.commentarymagazine.com/viewarticle.cfm/hugo-ch-vez-s-jewish-problem-11455. The man's closest ally in the world is the Holocaust-denying Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, so why should it be a surprise to anyone that his government would start spewing out anti-Semitic bile?
