The Middle East conflict comes to Canada

More litigation jihad, and given that it was filed in Quebec, I have a hunch that it will work. A West Bank village has filed suit in a Quebec court seeking compensatory and punitive damages as well as injunctive relief against two Canadian companies involved in the construction of an Israeli village in the West Bank: http://www.cbc.ca/canada/montreal/story/2008/07/10/qc-settlementlawsuit0710.html. Of all the places in North America, Quebec is almost certainly the most anti-Israel. Watch out, because it would not surprise me at all if the lawsuit succeeds, though I would note as an aside that I don't how any Quebec Court would have jurisdiction over what occurs in a foreign country.
