More separatist idiocy out of Quebec

The 400th anniversary of the city of Quebec is approaching next month, and as part of the festivities the city has secured a commitment from Paul McCartney (yes, THAT Paul McCartney) to perform a free concert on the Plains of Abraham, near the city. This has apparently ruffled the feathers of a few separatists, who are whining that McCartney's presence means that the event is being "Canadianized": http://www.cbc.ca/canada/montreal/story/2008/07/16/qc-paulmccartneyquebec4000716.html. Here's a news flash for these morons. As of today, Quebec is a part of Canada. And, the city celebration is just that, a celebration of the founding of the city, not some misguided attemtp at creating a separatist holiday. These idiots really need to get a clue and grow up.
