He understands Hockey better than Gary Bettman ever will

Sorry, I misspelled, the NHL Commissioner's name in the byline--I meant to write "Buttman". In any case, National Hocke League Players Association Executive Director Paul Kelly was asked for some general comments about the sport, and while he stated that revenue sharing was a key (no surprise there, that has long been a position of the NHLPA), he also spoke strongly about how several other Canadian cities could and would be viable NHL markets, listing specifically Hamilton, Winnipeg and even Halifax:

It's nice to know that at least one of the powers that be in the NHL hierarchy understands the importance of Canada to the NHL's future.
