Idiocy in Big "D"

An African-American Dallas city councilman has objected to a white colleague's use of the term "Black Hole", as did another African-American colleague, believing it to be racist: http://cityhallblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2008/07/dallas-county-meeting-turns-ra.html. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Are these two really that big idiots, and that racially sensitive?
