Condoleeza Rice may be the most naive Secretary of State I have ever seen. I'd prefer to believe that rather than my other thought, which is that she may be the most anti-Israel Secretary of State in my lifetime. Given her competition includes James "F--- the Jews" Baker, that's saying something. She appears to be completely unaware of the reality on the ground in Israel, which is that Hamas does NOT want peace with Israel in any way, shape or form. The whole situation brings to mind the old story about the child who murders both of his/her parents and then cries that he/she is an orphan. The Palestinians are that child.
