Hmm. You would think that with all of our gnashing of teeth, rending of garments, and general kowtowing every time someone dares say ANYTHING which could remotely be construed as negative about Islam, the MSM here would be a little bit more up in arms when its fellow members are facing death for daring to be open-minded............

In the spirit of even handedness, I note that this article was published in a San Francisco paper, and authored by a guy who works at Stanford and used to work for the NYT.
