May 8, 1948-May 8, 2008. It may not be the happiest of birthdays for the world's lone Jewish state, but it is a testament to the will of its people that it getting to celebrate this birthday at all. Lord knows, if it were up to the Muslim states and the political left, this day would never have occurred.
