Newly-elected London Mayor Boris Johnson has discontinued the agreement his predecessor, "Red" Ken Livingstone, had with Venezuela's Hugo Chavez to acquire fuel oil at a reduced price: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB121183743752820909.html?mod=djemEditorialPage. Apparently, and unlike a few American legislators (and how are YOU today, Congressman Joseph Kennedy?), Johnson realized the propaganda that was being generated by this plan and the fact that many Venezuelans were not sharing in the glories of Chavez' "Socialism for the 21st Century".
Good on him, I say..............
