There is a report in London's Daily Telegraph that actor and angry leftie George Clooney has become buddy-buddy with Barack Obama, to the point where Clooney is offering Obama all sorts of advice, especially in the foreign policy sphere: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/celebritynews/2533941/Barack-Obama-gets-advice-from-new-friend-George-Clooney.html. Apparently, Clooney isn't too fond of Israel, and he wants the U.S. to withdraw from Iraq immediately and unconditionally, consequences be damned.
What I want to know is, if this story is true, why hasn't it been picked up by any of the big American newspapers? Could it be that they don't want to see any kind of backlash against Obama? If that's the case, they shouldn't worry. Obama is more teflon than any politician I've seen in my lifetime.
