You see, according to Red Ted, we all spend too much (he has a point there), and consume too much and we have too many kids. I have to say, I just love it when the super rich, who possess more than most of us will ever have in our lifetimes, tell us that we plebeians have too much.

On a voluntary basis, everybody in the world has got to pledge to themselves that one or two children is it.

I found a summary of the IPCC report and there is a chart near the bottom. I'm not sure what the 2000 constant means, but they made predictions using six different models. The best scenario is a 3.2 degree rise and the worst is a 7.2 degree rise and this will happen by the year 2090! Not an 8 degree increase in 10, 30, 40 years or whatever other number Ted Turner wants to use.
