What can the Russians contribute?
Russia is apparently determined to organize a Middle East "Peace Conference": http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1206446104941&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull. I have to ask, what good will this serve? Russia holds no sway over Israel, and only a minimal influence over the Arab states. I see this as nothing but a photo-op, one which Israel would be well advised to avoid.

I would guess they would have something anti-Israel to plan. It is interesting that they are trying this if they don't have any influence.
