Persistently anti-Israel

The proposed academic boycott by British educators of Israeli educators and institutions, which appeared to have been abandoned last year, has now raised its ugly head once again: http://education.guardian.co.uk/higher/news/story/0,,2268512,00.html. I would ask why the Brits are so consistently anti-Israel, but when your state broadcasting outlet, the BBC, is among the most virulently anti-Israeli outlets on the planet, I guess that it shouldn't be much of a surprise.
