No reincarnation for you!

At least not in China, where the government has banned reincarnation without government permission: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20227400/site/newsweek/.

And then people wonder why I question government involvement in our lives? This is what bureaucrats do if they are given enough time!

I'd love to see how they enforce that.

Perhaps they can combine the enforcement of this law, with their one-child policy:

"I'm sorry ma'am, but your newborn is actually a reincarnated Buddist who didn't register first. We'll register him now, and then kill him, so that he can reincarnate properly..."

What will be sad is if there are people gullible or ignorant enough to believe their government has this type of power.
