A sad anniversary

Yesterday marked the 18th anniversary of the massacre at Montreal's "Ecole Polytechnique", where an deranged individual by the name of Marc Lepine murdered eighteen innocent female students whose only crime was going to school that day: http://www.cbc.ca/canada/montreal/story/2007/12/06/qc-montrealmassacre1206.html.

The fascinating thing about the CBC article to me is that Lepine's name is never mentioned in the article. As well, the fact that his birth name was Gamil Gharbi, and that he was raised by a misogynistic, Islamic father (http://www.rotten.com/library/bio/crime/spree-killers/marc-lepine/) somehow escapes the the attention of the article writer as well. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I consider this one another "Sudden Jihad" situation..........
